Tamper proof label is used to seal and protect our assets, in the purpose of avoiding attempt of opening, removing and resealing, applicable for tamper evident and anti theft. In this category, the most representative ones are residue tamper proof label and non-residue tamper proof label. What are their difference and suitable in which occasions respectively?
Residue tamper proof label: after we tear this label off, the hidden tamper evident words 'VOID' will come out which will be transferred on the surface where we stick it to and can't be fixed back.
So for this label, it is suitable to the occasions where obvious trace is needed. Because after it is torn off, the sticker is broken and also there will be a big trace on the place where this sticker is pasted on. A very conspicuous change will be there.
Non-residue tamper proof label: after we tear this label off, the hidden tamper evident words 'VOID' will come out at the sticker itself only, nothing on the surface where we stick it to.
So for this label, it is suitable to the occasions where re-use and uncleanable is needed. Because after we use residue labels, there will be an obvious trace there, if we want to use another label at the same place again, we must make it clean. If that place is unsuitable to do any clean movements or troublesome, non-residue is a good choice then.
